Live Like We’re Dying

Here’s the new music video for Kris Allen’s debut single. With the way things are going for him… very little buzz for the upcoming album, very slow rise of the new single on the charts, low-key promotion thus far… I expected this video to be cheap-looking and rushed. But what a nice surprise! It’s much better than my low expectations. If Kris weren’t white and with a different song, this would have passed for a hip-hop video haha… kulang na lang scantily-clad ladies strutting around and gyrating hehe.

While we’re on the subject of Idol, here is this year’s third placer. Danny Gokey was a favorite initially because I liked his voice but as the weeks went on in the competition he just came off as a douche and rubbed me the wrong way. Plus, he didn’t deliver much except until the top 3 performance night when he ironically got booted out lol. He’s gone country! Good decision? I think so. Because I seriously believe no one is going to touch him if he were to do pop or r&b. I like his new single! Believe it or not, if I were to rank the debut singles that this year’s A.Idol top 4 has released these past few weeks Danny’s would come in first, Kris’ second, Adam’s third, and unfortunately Allison’s song sucks. Danny’s debut album comes out in March but his new single premiered a few hours ago at some radio station in North America. Here is a radio rip of the song from that premiere the full song. Enjoy!
